Autobiography
Welcome!
My name is Prim, and I'm a Junior in high school who's passionate about making the world a better place. During my sophomore year of high school, I got a chance to stay in Round Square House, which is a worldwide network of innovative high school students. We work on many humanitarian issues and practice our skills through the ideals of the house. We talked about Syrian refugee crisis multiple times, and it caught my attention that many people know about Syrian refugee, but the Myanmar refugee and displaced people are forgotten from people minds. This might be because the issues had been going on for more than ten years, and most people I know thought that everything resolved. I want to know more about the issue, so I contacted the UNHCR headquarters in Thailand. After a long conversation and emails, they gave me a chance to visit the displaced people camps near the border of Thailand and Myanmar. I learned so many things from just a few days there, so I would like to share some of the stories with you, readers.
Hope you enjoy,
Prim
